Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program security and site automation solutions for customers. You will service fire and CO detectors, access control, and hosted video solutions, ensuring proper operation and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years of field experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.
• Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.
• Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
