Job summary

ADT Security Services seeks a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, and program security and site automation solutions for homes and small businesses. You will service fire and CO detection, access control, and hosted video, test signals with central monitoring, and ensure reliable operation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2 years’ experience with ADT or similar products, excellent communication and a customer‑driven mindset, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience installing or inspecting ADT or comparable product line.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program security and site automation solutions.
• Service fire and carbon monoxide detection, access control, and hosted video.
• Test signals and communications with central monitoring to ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure understanding of protection and status of systems.
