Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. seeks a Full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist for the Drapelick Center in Bloomfield, CT. The role involves supervising clients, conducting urinalyses, and coordinating client movement while maintaining strict documentation to support re-entry efforts.

Due to contractual requirements, only male applicants are considered. You will work with the Program Director and MST Experts to ensure safe, compliant operations and client progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus experience in social service or criminal justice.
• Background check (FBOP) required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Report to work 15 minutes before shift.
• Conduct urinalysis.
• Verify items passed between shifts and document results.
• Conduct searches of common areas, rooms, and perimeter; document results.
• Pat/pocket searches on entering clients; confiscate contraband and file incident reports.
• Complete hourly counts overnight and every 2 hours during the day; document results.
• Transport clients in a company vehicle.
• Conduct monthly emergency drills.
• Supervise client visitation and sign in visitors.
• Complete intake and client orientation.
• Facilitate client movement in and out of the facility.
