Community Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Part-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist for the Drapelick program in Bloomfield, CT.

Eligible candidates must have a High School Diploma with 4 years of related social service or criminal justice experience, pass a FBOP background check, complete 40 hours of FBOP training, and hold a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years’ experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
• Pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
• Attend 40hrs of FBOP required training, prior to working FBOP clients.
• Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Strong attention to details.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Urinalysis as required.
• Provide update on client issues and incidents.
• Verify all items passed between shifts.
• Ensure security of facility keys and transport clients as needed.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks.
• Supervise searches and document results.
• Complete intake on new arrivals prior to end of shift.
• Facilitate client orientation and movement in/out of the facility.
• Monitor medication self-administration and assist with paperwork.
