Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) is hiring a Full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist at Drapelick Center in Bloomfield, CT to support individuals re-entering the community.

You will conduct security checks, intake and orientation, supervise client activity, perform urinalysis, monitor medication self-administration, transport clients, and document every shift with meticulous attention to detail. The role offers a Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00pm–12:00am schedule and an hourly rate of $20.25 plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years’ experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
• Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Due to our contractual requirements, we can only consider male applicants for this role.
• Pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
• Attend 40hrs of FBOP required training, prior to working FBOP clients.
• Strong attention to details
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Report to work 15 minutes before scheduled shift.
• Conduct Urinalysis.
• Provide update on any client issues and incidents.
• Verify all physical items being passed between shifts.
• Ensure security of facility keys.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
• Document results of searches and counts.
• Confiscate contraband and complete incident report.
• Complete house counts hourly from midnight to 8am and every 2 hours 8am–10pm.
• Transport clients in company vehicle as needed.
• Conduct monthly emergency drills.
• Secure urines from same-sex clients and complete paperwork.
• Supervise all client visitation and sign-in/out visitors.
