Job summary

Greystar Massachusetts is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings and common areas meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local credentials, and a valid driver's license for on-property tasks; a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications are required.
• State and local certifications as required for the role.
• A valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing by completing make-ready tasks and inspecting work.
• Manages materials: tracks inventory, returns unused items, notifies supervisor on reorders.
• Documents work orders promptly and accurately for records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and basic painting as needed.
