Job summary

National CORE is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Oceanside, CA for a full-time role focused on property upkeep. The position involves electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, custodial tasks and grounds work under supervision of the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor.

Hard requirements include a valid CA driver’s license and at least 1 year of maintenance experience; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Non-exempt, day shift and on-site duties apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow established maintenance protocols.
• Experience in property maintenance or related field preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all maintenance projects and training classes as directed.
• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs, replacements and fixtures.
• Paint, carpentry, and general grounds and custodial tasks as needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and complete work orders within 24 hours.
