Job summary

National CORE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Mosaic Gardens at Pomona, CA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on performing routine maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing tasks, painting, carpentry, custodial work, and grounds upkeep to ensure property quality.

The candidate should have 1+ year in property maintenance, with high school education or equivalent; technical certs or 3+ years experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year or more of recent experience in property management maintenance or a related field is required; 2+ years preferred.
• High school education or equivalent is needed, or a combination of 3+ years relevant work experience and technical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all maintenance projects and training classes as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work, such as clearing drain stoppages, replacing fittings and faucets.
• Replace broken tile, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint interiors and exteriors as directed.
• Assist in custodial work including cleaning and grounds tasks.
• Assist in the repair of concrete, masonry, roof, fencing and signage as directed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding current contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report status daily to supervisor.
