Job summary

National Community Renaissance seeks a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep under supervision. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and custodial tasks to keep units and common areas safe and functional for residents.

Requirements include reading English (Spanish optional for resident base), ability to follow instructions, and a valid California driver's license. The role is full-time, on-site, non-exempt, with occasional weekend hours and emergency standby as

Qualifications

Must be able to work with minimal supervision and follow written instructions.
Ability to communicate with residents in English (Spanish optional for the resident base).
Must demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintenance projects and trainings as directed.
Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
Perform minor plumbing work such as clearing drain stoppages and replacing fittings.
Replace broken fixtures, tiles, blinds, and locks; perform painting and carpentry tasks.
Assist in custodial duties including cleaning common areas and windows.
Support grounds work and routine maintenance around the property.
