Job summary

National CORE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Arbor Village in San Diego, CA. The role supports the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor, handling practical property maintenance tasks to protect and improve the community environment.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, custodial, and grounds duties, with a standby schedule. A valid CA driver’s license and basic certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of property management maintenance experience required.
• High school education or equivalent; 3+ years combined experience and certifications.
• Valid California Driver's License and automobile insurance to drive for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all property maintenance projects and training.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances and fixtures.
• Perform minor plumbing work and replace fittings and faucets.
• Replace broken tiles, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks.
• Paint interiors and exteriors as directed.
• Assist in custodial and grounds work.
• Standby emergency schedule with 30-minute response time.
• Maintain inventory and organize maintenance tools and materials.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours.
• Assist in apartment inspections and turnovers.
