Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building interiors, grounds, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards at our Colorado properties.

Responsibilities include executing work orders, preparing vacants for leasing, sourcing materials, documenting tasks, and supporting cost-cutting while maintaining safety and quality. EPA refrigerant certifications, proper licensing, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policy and codes.
• Conducts make-ready process for vacant apartments: pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Accesses and requisitions materials from maintenance by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor about reorders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Education
