Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and maintain our residential properties in Flagstaff, AZ. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-readies to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality across buildings and amenities.

The role involves inventory management, vendor coordination, and adherence to safety policies. A high school diploma and 2 years of related experience are required, with EPA HVAC certifications often preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• May be required to hold various certifications (e.g. HVAC) and licenses.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and a collaborative member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety standards.
• Preparesvacant apartments for leasing; conducts pre-move-out inspections and coordinates vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory; notifies supervisor when re-ordering.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
• Follows safety policies and attends trainings; reports accidents promptly.
• Inspects work by contractors for quality and compliance.
• Conducts routine property inspections and communicates needs to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
