Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain property buildings, grounds, and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete the make-ready process for vacant units to support leasing.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid drivers license, and the ability to travel between properties as needed. Responsibilities include documenting work orders, managing inventory, and assisting in safety training and compliance.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid drivers license to operate a golf cart on property when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes and inspect prior to leasing.
• Access materials, track inventory, and notify on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist cost-saving initiatives by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
