Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential or human services program management.
• Strong understanding of DDA and COMAR regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple program locations and staff teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between program sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all programs, ensuring licensing, health, and safety standards.
• Manage staffing, schedules, and attendance to ensure coverage and PCP requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess program quality, documentation, and environmental conditions.
• Partner with the Program Director to address deficiencies and audit readiness.
• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• 24/7 on-call coverage for assigned homes.
• Provide training on essential daily living tasks, including cleaning, cooking from meal plans, feeding, medications, and personal hygiene.
• Supervise and coach House Managers to ensure effective leadership and performance.
• Lead regular program meetings to align staff on goals and updates.
• Promote accountability, respect, and collaboration across teams.
• Manage team performance through coaching, mentoring, evaluations, and staff meetings.
• Ensure services are person-centered and goal-oriented, aligned with individual support plans.
• Monitor health and medical needs, report concerns, and ensure timely appointments and documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing and external case management for holistic care.
• Monitor finances of individuals, ensuring purchases are pre-approved and documented.
• Maintain open communication with families, guardians, and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement activity programs, including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Review and approve program documentation, incident reports, and attendance records.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all billable records.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and investigations and resolve findings.
• Assist in budgeting related to staffing, supplies, and maintenance.
