Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a Residential Supervisor II to oversee staff delivering direct care to adults with mental illness in a Cape Cod residential group home. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, 8:30am–5:00pm, with Sundays and Saturdays off, located at 191 Santuit-Newtown Road, Marstons Mills, MA.

Qualifications

• At least four years of full-time experience in counseling or therapeutic services, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Substitution options include a Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience per education credits; Master’s degree may substitute for additional experience.
• Employees may need to possess MA Class D driver's license for travel.
• COVID-19 vaccination and related regulatory requirements may apply to the position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage daily operations of a residential program for adults with mental health needs.
• Understand care and support for adults with mental illness and use of community resources.
• Monitor and support Individualized Action Plans to promote independence and community integration.
• Coordinate with programs and providers to ensure access to medical, psychiatric, dental, vocational, and social services.
• Oversee staff assignments, supervision, performance evaluations, and staff development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and facilitate group sessions while maintaining documentation and compliance with DMH/Joint Commission standards.
• Promote residents’ rights, confidentiality, dignity, and a safe living environment.
• Support medication education and administration per program policies and certifications.
