Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Department of Developmental Services seeks a Residential Supervisor II to oversee two homes in East Freetown & Rochester. You will supervise about 25 direct support staff, implement ISPs, and promote residents’ rights and community participation.

The role requires travel, a valid MA Class D license, and flexible scheduling with mandatory overtime responsibilities in a 24/7 program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, human services or education of people with physical and/or learning disability may substitute for two years of required experience.
• Master’s or higher degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, human services or education of people with physical and/or learning disability may substitute for three years.
• DSW II–IV experience counts as creditable service toward required experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, evaluate, and schedule approx. 25 direct support staff.
• Implement consumer individual service plans (ISP).
• Provide direct support to enhance rights, autonomy and community participation.
• Monitor residential and consumer funds and health coordination with nursing supports.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and DDS policies and regulations.
