Job summary

Cape Abilities in Hyannis, MA seeks an experienced residential services manager to implement personalized supports, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for participants.

You will hire, train, and supervise Residential Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead quality improvement efforts, reporting to agency leadership.

Additionally, you will coordinate trainings and act as liaison with regulatory bodies to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in residential management and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and CARF standards.
• 3 years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, brain injuries or other unique challenges.
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license in Massachusetts.
• Completion of state and agency mandated trainings and Medication Administration Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, evaluate, and provide support to Residential Supervisors; ensures standards are understood.
• Ensures regulatory and policy compliance in assigned homes through reviews and audits.
• Guides development of treatment plans (ISP, provider agreements, clinical support plans) and monitors implementation.
• Assists with recruiting, supervising, and training Direct Support Professionals.
• Serves as liaison with MRC and DDS for assigned homes.
• Provides mandatory trainings for agency staff (fire safety, emergencies, precautions, vital signs, illness signs).
• Reviews and finalizes reporting (incident, restraint, medication, ISP objectives).
• Ensures CARF compliance with agency standards.
• Provides weekend/evening on-call coverage.
• Acts as mandated reporter to DPPC.
