Job summary

Cape Abilities Farm is seeking a qualified leader to oversee residential programs in Massachusetts. You will supervise Residential Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals, ensuring high quality, compliant services in home settings.

You will coordinate treatment plans, staff trainings, and regulatory reviews while maintaining strong communication with participants, families, and regulatory bodies. This role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to person-centered supports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years prior experience including 3 years residential management and staff management experience and 3 years supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent reading.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, evaluate, and support Residential Supervisors; ensure performance standards.
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance in homes; conduct record reviews and audits.
• Guide development and monitoring of treatment plans and ISP for participants.
• Assist with recruiting, supervising, and training Direct Support Professionals.
• Serve as liaison with MRC and DDS for residents.
• Provide mandatory staff trainings (fire safety, emergency procedures, universal precautions, etc.).
• Review and finalize incident, restraint, medication, and ISP reports.
• Ensure CARF and ADA compliance.
• Provide rotational weekend and evening on-call coverage.
• Serve as mandated reporter to DPPC.
