Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Program Supervisor for the STAIRS residential program in the Homestead area near Pittsburgh, PA. The role oversees direct care staff, schedules, and program operations, ensuring safety and therapeutic treatment for youth with autism and developmental disabilities.

You will lead staff, monitor behavior, document services, and coordinate with families and external agencies while maintaining compliance with licensing and CARF/JCAHO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline and two years direct care experience OR 60 college credits with twelve credit hours and three years direct care experience.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support direct care staff, including task assignments and performance feedback.
• Oversee daily residential program operations, including activities, schedules, and staff coverage.
• Assist with program planning, quality assurance, and communication with families and external agencies.
• Manage program budgets with a focus on efficiency and best practices.
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention support using approved techniques and protocols.
• Coach staff on crisis response and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
