Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Residential Program Manager to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role supports daily operations and helps the team meet programmatic goals.

You will supervise staff, ensure proper scheduling, provide essential training on daily routines, and manage ISP/PCP development with an interdisciplinary team to address concerns and behavioral progress.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED completed per state guidelines.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of state regulatory operations for IDD.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train teams to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Provide training on daily routines including cleaning, cooking established meal plans, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Develop and update ISP/PCP with an interdisciplinary team to include concerns and behavioral developments.
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Assist with monitoring the finances of individuals ensuring purchases are approved and documented.
• Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report concerns promptly.
• May be required to fill shifts when staffing issues arise.
• Employees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in inspections.
