Job summary

Community Options, Inc. seeks a Residential Program Manager for Amarillo, TX, to lead a team delivering person-centered supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role covers day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and program development within residential and community settings.

The position emphasizes on-call availability, coordination with families, and adherence to ISP/PCP plans, with a strong focus on compliance and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with ID/DD.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Lead team through training, performance management, staff meetings, and recognition.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families/guardians as needed.
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management.
• Maintain program documentation and billable records accurately and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain relationships with families/guardians of individuals in care.
• Ensure work locations/vehicles are clean, well maintained, and stocked with supplies.
