Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Residential Program Manager to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role supports daily operations, ensures safety, and helps the program meet its goals in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time work experience helping people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Improve team performance through communication, training, performance management and meetings.
• Develop and implement activity programs including Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families/guardians as needed.
• Support individuals per ISP/PCP including medication management, meals and behavior management.
• Ensure documentation and billable records are accurate and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns.
• Maintain relationships with families and guardians.
• Ensure work locations/vehicles are clean and stocked with supplies.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.
