Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN seeks an experienced Residential Program Manager to lead a team providing person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will support day-to-day operations and work toward programmatic goals.

The role requires coordinating schedules, ensuring compliant documentation, and maintaining equipment and vehicles. The position offers opportunities for growth within a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Coach staff through training and performance reviews.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with the families and guardians as needed.
• Ensure supports per ISP/PCP including medication management, meals, and behavior.
