Job summary

Bridgewell's Assistant Residential Manager 3 oversees daily operations of residential homes/day programs for individuals with disabilities. You will lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate care, training, and documentation. The role requires empathy, leadership, and effective collaboration with management and nursing teams.

Schedule includes evenings and weekends (40 hours/week). A high school diploma or GED is required; DSP certification or related degree is preferred, with

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• DSP Certification, Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff or act as shift leader and coordinate documentation with management or nursing staff.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and foster positive relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and one year of driving experience.
• Computer literacy includes Microsoft products and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to ensure performance standards are upheld and agency requirements are followed.
• Provide leadership, build a positive work climate, and communicate with on-call and management staff.
• Ensure services and documentation meet DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and Bridgewell standards.
• Create opportunities and support to individuals to develop skills and independence.
• Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs and arrange services as needed.
• Transport individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities.
