Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is hiring a Residential Sales Specialist to sell pest management services to new and existing residential customers. You will assess customer needs, perform needs analyses, and present pest control solutions based on product knowledge.

Role involves inspecting homes, collaborating with service teams, and developing proposals. Travel up to 100% of time in the assigned territory is required. Competitive pay with benefits starts day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or Technical degree preferred.
• Pest Industry certifications a plus.
• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• 1-2 years in pest control sales and 2+ years in customer service.
• Effective verbal communicator for customer-facing conversations and presentations.
• Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs by performing a needs analysis using expert knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and pest entries.
• Sell pest control solutions for residential customers.
• Collaborate with the Service Center, Inside Sales, and technicians for more opportunities.
• Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and service engagement.
• Develop proposals to resolve issues and upsell pest household services.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM and share with customer.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge during new service installations.
• Record daily activities and sales performance in the Sales CRM.
