Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist to sell pest control services to residential customers. You will assess needs, inspect properties, and craft proposals to close sales while coordinating with service teams.

A customer-focused approach and knowledge of pest control products are essential, with travel up to 100% of territory. The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1+ years in sales or pest tech, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Pest industry certifications are a plus.
• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience required.
• 1–2 years in pest control sales and 2+ years in customer service preferred.
• Effective verbal communicator with customer-facing conversations and follow-ups.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence; travel up to 100% of time.

Responsibilities

• Sell residential pest control services and products to new/existing customers.
• Perform needs analyses and present pest control solutions.
• Inspect homes for pests, harborage and entry points.
• Develop proposals and follow up on past proposals to close sales.
• Coordinate with customer service, Inside Sales, and technicians.
• Use CRM to document home assessments and sales activities.
