Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a motivated Residential Sales Specialist to drive the sale of Pest Management Services for homes. You will assess customer needs, perform home inspections for pest issues, and propose tailored solutions to residential clients.

A strong emphasis on customer communication and follow-ups will help grow the business. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ year of sales or pest technician experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer Associate's or Technical degree.
• Pest Industry certifications a plus.
• Must have 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• Prefer 1–2 years in pest control sales and 2+ years in customer service.
• Must be an effective verbal communicator with customer-facing conversations and follow-ups.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Assess customers' needs by performing a needs analysis using expert knowledge of products and services.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and entry points.
• Sell pest control solutions for residential customers based on assessments.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for opportunities.
• Develop proposals with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and enhancements.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM for clear understanding of customer home and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance using the Sales CRM.
