Qualifications

• 2+ years Florida residential permitting experience.
• Experience submitting plans and tracking plan review status.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Code and local portals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track building permit applications across Volusia County municipalities.
• Manage jurisdiction portals, fee payments, notices of commencement, and resubmittals.
• Maintain an accurate permit status log to support scheduling and prevent delays.
• Escalate delays and jurisdictional issues to the construction team promptly.
• Coordinate permit-related inspection scheduling with field staff and contacts.
• Assemble occupancy certificates, approvals, closeout documents, and audit-ready records.
