We are seeking a Construction Permitting Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in DeLand, FL. This role is ideal for a permitting professional with Florida residential construction experience who understands how critical timely permit approvals are to keeping construction projects moving.
The Construction Permitting Clerk will own permitting activity across multiple Volusia County jurisdictions, including DeLand, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Deltona, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with construction, field, and administrative teams in a structured, deadline‑driven environment where accuracy, follow‑through, and communication are valued.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys document control, municipal coordination, permit tracking, and supporting construction production from application through closeout.
