Job summary

Comcast Corporation in Bloomington, MN is seeking an entry-level broadband installation and troubleshooting technician. You will install new services in customers' homes, restore connectivity, and ensure a positive customer experience using coax, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi, while following safety codes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform installation and troubleshooting with safety standards.
• Must complete required training and certifications.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.
• Physically capable to lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders or work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects while following safe work practices and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network connection to customer equipment.
• Install and support basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi.
• Verify service quality using testing tools and adjust for reliability.
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment use.
• Accurately document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment; report safety concerns promptly.
• Drive a company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Complete required training, certifications, background checks, and licensing within defined timeframes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Meet or exceed established performance and safety standards.
