Job summary

Arcadiamsc is seeking a maintenance technician to support the upkeep and repair of apartment units. You will report to the Maintenance Manager or the Team Lead in their absence, handling turnovers, work orders, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include routine and emergency maintenance on units and grounds, diagnosing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues, preparing vacants, and keeping accurate service records while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily housing.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repairs knowledge.
• Ability to read and write in English to interpret manuals and document issues.
• Basic computer skills for work order management and communication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on apartment units and property grounds.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and tasks.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, drywall repair, and cleaning.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and building codes.
• Collaborate with property management team and vendors as needed.
