Job summary

MRK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot, and conduct preventative maintenance across assigned properties. The role emphasizes timely completion of work orders and supports property grounds and buildings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in maintenance, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Willingness to be on-call evenings, weekends, and travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• OSHA knowledge preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and debris from sidewalks and walkways.
• Completes janitorial requirements according to schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
