Job summary

MRK Partners, Inc. is seeking aMaintenance Technician to handle repairs, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance across assigned properties. The role focuses on timely completion of work orders and maintaining grounds and buildings at our Turnersville, NJ location.

Responsibilities include restoring apartments for new residents, snow and debris removal, janitorial duties, and responding to weekend/evening/holiday emergencies while traveling within the portfolio as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventive maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice, leaves from sidewalks and driveways.
• Completes janitorial requirements per schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Patrols property daily and maintains cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
