Job summary

MRK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot, and conduct preventative maintenance across assigned properties. The role focuses on timely completion of work orders and maintaining grounds and buildings.

Responsibilities include tenant-ready restorations, weather-related clearing, and on-call shifts. Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma, maintenance experience, OSHA knowledge, and bilingual capability in English is not required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
EPA certification preferred.
HVAC certification preferred.
Must be able to read, speak and comprehend English.
Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
Ability to read and follow directions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
Completes janitorial requirements per schedule.
Responds to on-call emergencies weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Patrols property daily and maintains cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
