Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and assist with make-ready processes for vacant units.

Attention to safety, efficient use of materials, and accurate documentation are essential as you maintain grounds and common areas. The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license if operating onsite vehicles, and

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-readies to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Follow procedures to access materials and track inventory.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
