Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities in Texas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, complete preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, AC certification levels I and II, and willingness to work a flexible schedule and on-call. Capstone offers competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment maintenance experience or more.
• Technical/other training
• Valid Driver’s License (per entry requirements)

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and code requirements.
• Perform make-ready work to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor for reorders.
• Complete documentation for service requests to ensure accurate tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities and perform basic cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
• Perform preventative maintenance and be willing to work flexible hours and be on-call.
