Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to service a residential property in Texas. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing repairs to code and safety standards, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure property reliability.

Responsibilities include making-ready vacant units, coordinating vendors, maintaining supplies, and documenting all work orders. A valid driver’s license, HVAC and EPA certifications, and a criminal history check with drug

Qualifications

• Minimum One Year of Apartment Maintenance
• Technical/other training
• HVAC Certification
• EPA Certification Required
• Criminal History Record Check and Drug Screen required

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects, repairing to code and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling and vendor coordination.
• Accesses materials and equipment following procedures; tracks inventory and notifies supervisor about re-orders.
• Completes documentation to accurately document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible and using tools efficiently.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
