Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests, make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance and preventative maintenance within our community.

You will deliver exceptional customer service to residents and vendors while ensuring safety and proper documentation. Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks with the supervisor, performing electrical/plumbing work, and assisting with various maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification highly desired.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of apartment maintenance tasks and safety.
• Ability to perform make-readies, basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and complete tasks.
• Coordinate with supervisor and team to prioritize daily work.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or fix them as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and handle repairs.
• Maintain community appearance and handle light maintenance tasks.
