Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests across our community.

You will work with residents, guests and vendors to keep buildings safe and inviting, performing make-readies, groundskeeping, pool and preventative maintenance as needed. Ideal candidates have at least six months in apartment maintenance, a high school diploma, and EPA Type I/II or Universal certification.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and perform make-readies.
• Maintain community appearance by replacing lightbulbs and cleaning.
• Document service requests and maintenance work in Onesite.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and inspections.
