Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure indoor and outdoor spaces meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support make-ready inspections for leasing-ready units.

The role requires hands-on trade experience, tool proficiency, and strong customer service skills to interact with residents. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications are beneficial as you coordinate with vendors and manage safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe use of hand/tools and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform and diagnose work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Develop standards for community cleanliness and appearance across grounds, buildings, and amenities.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety adherence.
• Maintain inventory and budget for maintenance supplies.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks and assist in budgeting for repairs.
