Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will perform work orders, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready tasks for vacant units, while coordinating with vendors and managing inventory.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• State and local certifications as required for all service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure property standards.
• Completes the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including the pre-move‑in tasks and coordinating vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor about re‑ordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for timely tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and minor repairs, supporting cost‑control efforts.
