Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Perimeter Pointe in Charlotte, NC. The role covers electrical/mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas up to company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Essential responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, preparing vacant units, managing materials, documenting tasks, and supporting grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• State and local licensure as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate property vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and code requirements.
• Completes make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by inspecting, listing needed work, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are done.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track usage, return unused items, and notify supervision about re-order needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
