RangeWater Real Estate in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for interior and exterior spaces, respond to resident requests, and ensure our properties remain safe, clean, and inviting.

You will complete 24–48 hour work orders, perform make-ready tasks for new move-ins, inspect workmanship, and support cost‑efficiency. EPA refrigerant certs, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication are preferred.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience Preferred: 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Advanced Skills: Communication and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs for reporting purposes. Strong proficiency in property management software (Entrata Yardi and/or One Site).
• Licenses and Certificates Requirements: Licenses: Current Valid Driver's License.
• Certifications: EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant recycling, plus any state/local certifications.
• Physical and travel requirements: able to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, and local travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests within 24 to 48 hours and performs routine upkeep.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Follows procedures for materials and tool access, tracking inventory and reordering needs.
• Documents work in a timely and accurate manner for service request records.
• May inspect work by contractors and vendors to verify quality and scope.
• Complies with safety policies and participates in routine safety meetings; reports accidents promptly.
• Provides strong customer service, addressing resident questions and concerns professionally.
• Assists in periodic property inspections and communicates needs to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
