Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform high-quality maintenance in single-family rental homes while delivering outstanding resident service. You will handle multiple trades, educate residents on home systems, and schedule follow-up visits using the maintenance app.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, OSHA 10 certification, and 2–5+ years of relevant experience. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50+ pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years’ proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, other building maintenance or related experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills; multi-lingual is a plus.
• Comfortability using mobile devices (iPad and/or iPhone) and various mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for all residents.
• Perform regular ProCare visits in residents’ homes to perform proactive maintenance and repairs.
• Educate residents on maintenance expectations and home systems.
• Review and use technician reports to find opportunities for improvement.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties during turns and on the market.
