Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the community’s physical condition and provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle maintenance requests promptly.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic troubleshooting, and a valid driver’s license. On-call rotation ensures 24/7 maintenance coverage; excellent safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years maintenance experience
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Valid state driver’s license
• Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair)
• Ability to learn quickly
• Resident home repairs within company standards

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general property maintenance and ensure orderliness of the property
• Inspect and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems
• Adhere to company safety and environmental policies
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions
