Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in excellent condition and to provide world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and handle routine maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry disciplines.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work on-call. You will join a team dedicated to quality living experiences and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED graduate level.
• Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience with no certifications or 4 years’ experience with EPA 608 Universal required.
• Approved designations or degree/license/certification in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair Certification or Carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees assets, supervises maintenance staff and coordinates repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Ensures safety policies and environmental procedures are followed.
• Delivers high resident satisfaction through professional, responsive service.
• Works a rotating on‑call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
