Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our communities in excellent condition and deliver world-class service to residents. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and oversee maintenance staff and contractor activities to ensure timely response to requests.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, time management and communication skills, plus relevant certifications. This role is on-site with a shift rotation supporting 24/7 maintenance coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA 608 Universal preferred.
• 7 years of maintenance experience, or 4 years with EPA 608 Universal.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversees one or more assets and supervises maintenance staff and contractors.
• Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely resident service requests.
• Maintain safety and environmental policies and ensure compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to less senior technicians.
