Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Person to operate and maintain electrical and mechanical systems providing heating and hot water across our properties. You will coordinate with the Site Manager to ensure safe, efficient building operations and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC equipment, performing apartment repairs, turnover tasks for vacated units, and reporting safety issues. The role requires physical strength and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments.
• Turn over units upon vacancy, including furniture removal.
• Report health or safety issues to the Site Manager.
• Weekly inspection of buildings, grounds and public areas with deficiency reporting.
• Conduct housekeeping to keep halls, walls and stairs clean.
• Clean laundry room washers and dryers regularly.
• Deliver appliances to units during transfers or replacements.
• Record all maintenance work on work orders.
