Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Person to operate and maintain heating and hot water systems, ensuring safe and efficient building performance.

You will work under the Site Manager, coordinating daily tasks and performing preventive maintenance to support resident comfort. This role requires physical capability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to manage repairs on apartments and common areas.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to communicate in English clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 20 feet.
• Own basic hand tools or be willing to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters, air-conditioners and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation and continuous hot water service.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments and units as needed.
• Turn over units upon vacancy, including furniture removal.
• Inspect buildings, grounds and common areas; report deficiencies to Site Manager.
• Care for housekeeping and cleaning tasks in common areas and laundry facilities.
• Clean and service laundry appliances and manage housekeeping of electrical and mechanical equipment.
