Job summary

TM Associates Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Person to operate and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment for heating and hot water, ensuring safe, efficient building climate control.

The role reports to the Site Manager and coordinates daily tasks accordingly. You will perform upkeep on apartments and common areas, assist with unit turnover, and handle landscaping and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• General maintenance abilities across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems for safe operation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heaters and air conditioners; ensure safe, efficient operation and hot water supply.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance on apartments and common areas.
• Turn over units after vacancy, including furniture removal.
• Report health or safety issues to the Site Manager promptly.
• Inspect buildings weekly and document deficiencies; coordinate with Site Manager.
• Perform landscaping and exterior property maintenance including mowing and snow removal.
• Deliver appliances to units as needed and assist with deliveries/ relocations.
• Maintain cleanliness of building halls, stairways, and public areas; clean fixtures.
